Very cute fun game! I really liked the dancing squirrels! A little frustrating that the squirrels dont recognize that I picked up an acorn and they walk all the way over to it, bypassing closer acorns. Could be fixed with a check that ticks periodically to see if the acorn they wanted to pick up was still there - and you can put in a bReserved per acorn so multiple squirrels dont try to pick up the same one. Maybe "vision" is an upgrade for the player to zoom out their camera? Awesome!
I'm so glad you thought it was a cute fun game! Yeah I didn't put much finesse into the squirrels AI. The squirrels will just set out to pick up an acorn and they'll keep going to that spot even if the acorn has disappeared or rolled a little bit away. I did actually implement a prevention from 2 squirrels choosing the same acorn (similar to how you described), so as far as I know that shouldn't happen. Though it might seem like it happens since they might chase an acorn that was picked up by the player or decayed. YES! That was the plan for the player's vision mechanic! Thank you so much for the input, especially the technical part. Appreciate it!
Thank you so much for playing my game and letting me know about this bug. It is a known bug, but I underestimated how often it would occur. The AI is quite simple right now, they are just told to go to a very certain spot to drop off acorns and I didn't give them much tolerance. So they are constantly trying to reach that exact location but they block each other if there's too many 💀. Thank you for enjoying the game

Enjoy the game, simple yet really effective, I really like the fact that we can hire squirel to work for us. It's nice innovative gameplay.

often the extra squirels seem to get stuck after a while, they keep standing next to the tree still but jittering, fun game tho love it
